Memoirs of Time

Time is not merely a measure of passing moments, it is a force woven into the fabric of existence itself. It shapes memory, identity, and mortality. In my work, I approach time as a living, breathing entity and I wanted it to be one capable of remembering, choosing, and becoming.

At the heart of this piece is the story of Oras, a man who searched endlessly for knowledge and meaning. Through that quest, he became Time itself. Throughout this story there are various cultures and historical eras, deities who once were inventors of tools to track time. These beings were chosen by Time not for their power, but for their reverence of the intangible and their roles in giving structure to the infinite.
A worn journal documents the memories of Time, reaching back to when Oras was still mortal. These are not only stories, but they are also fragments of consciousness, reflections of how time perceives its own evolution.

Executed in a blend of surrealism and realism, this piece reflects my exploration of memory, myth, and the deep architecture of time. I believe that to understand time is to grasp the deeper meaning of existence, that in studying its fragments we come closer to understanding ourselves, our stories, and our place in something far greater than a linear progression.
